On a beautiful day out with my family at the Fishing Port Setúbal, I was lucky enough to find a fishing net recently collected from the Sado River and deposited on the platform of the fishing dock, with dozens of Flexopecten flexousus, already dead, but still with the rest of the animal. It was a good day out...

For several years I caught many and many shells in the fishing nets, along the old Fishing Port of Setúbal. Many and pleasant hours untangle shells caught in the nets, between them, some beautiful bivalves of the familly Pectinidae.
